• Liberty Pumps 287 is a 1/2 HP Automatic Submersible Sump Pump with a magnetically operated vertical Waft VMF switch and 10ft power cord. This pump can operate in a 10″ diameter sump pit, a unique one-piece cast iron housing and thermally safe, permanently lubricated motor.The Liberty 287 Model is for Sump and De-watering Applications most effective. This Vertical Magnetic Waft (VMF) model isn’t really useful for effluent applications as a result of their short On/Off cycle. Wide angle Waft models such as Liberty Pumps 281 and 283 are better fitted to effluent applications and are easily adjustable for different On/Off levels.
